Student Engagement Addressed in Great Site

Don’t you just LOVE when you’re looking for something, or thinking, “Gee, I need a lesson on ___________ ” and suddenly it falls into your lap? One of my favourite sites lately is Simple K12. It’s not only the great bunny slippers that’s drawn me in, but more than once recently I’ve found just the right resource from this site.

The following is a link for one of the tools it features (Collaborize Classroom).  I was discussing the in’s and out’s with a colleague in a PLC last week, and we compared it to Edmodo to see what fit this person’s needs better. I like the webinar format, because I can watch/listen while doing other things, and that many are available for viewing at any time.

Check it out, and let me know what you think!
