Assessment

Media is a fourth strand of our Ontario Language curriculum, along with Reading, Writing and Oral Language. As such, we find “new literacies” a catch phrase with some clout. (So much for the 3 R’s, huh?!)
Media literacy also ties in with information technology, and with most other subject areas. We use media in all of its forms across the curriculum to help students see where, how and why they fit into the world.
